Welcome to Swoon Sunday where you get to meet some of our swoon-worthy heroes. Today we have a visit from Matt/Will Fray from Anya and the Shy Guy by Suze Winegardner.
Matt, how about you describe yourself for us?
I am totally unique in every way. Every single way. Well okay, I have an identical brother. *sighs* So, we both have darkish hair—neither really dark, or really light…like an inbetweeny color. We’re 5’10, although I swear I have a few millimetres on my brother, especially when my hair is longer. We both have murky gray eyes. My brother is excessively shy when he’s around anyone he doesn’t know. Me? Not so much. And that MIGHT have given the game away…
What’s your profession?
I am a student. At least I’m supposed to be. Right now, however, I seem to be a singer in the largest boyband in the country. I bet you hear that all the time don’t you?
Where do you call home?
Jacksonville, Florida. Or more technically, where I call home now is in a bunk, on a bus called The One, on tour with Seconds to Juliet. The bus also may or may not have a larger than life decal of the whole band with no shirts on. Thankfully, it’s my twin who had to pose for that one. *swipes forehead*
What kind of music do you listen to? (What song are you listing to on your iPod right now?)
Ah, crap. I’m listening to the first two albums of Second to Juliet. I’ve got to learn all the lyrics, because it turns out my idiot of a brother thought it would be fun to teach me all the wrong words. I’ll kill him. Seriously. Look away because you won’t want to be a witness to that!
Do you have a special skill?
Besides pulling the wool over 20 million Seconds to Juliet fans? Nope. My skill is trying to keep all my shit together without anyone getting into any trouble. Especially my brother.
What is your biggest dream/wish/desire?
For my brother to get better.
What’s your biggest regret?
Not strangling my brother with the umbilical cord when I had my chance.
What’s your darkest secret?
Ha! Aside from pretending to be someone I’m not?
What is your favourite movie of all time?
I’ve recently been introduced to the movie Cabaret, which totally legitimizes the fact that I have to wear make-up nearly every day.
What is one thing would you refuse to share?
My girl.

Or….? 😉
Early bird or night owl?
Night, night, night. All the way night. When I get off stage, the adrenaline is spiking so hard, I just want to run and jump and fly off into the night to experience all it has to offer. It usually offers regrets if I have to get up early the next morning.
