We love Vivi Barnes so we weren’t surprised that about a hundred people showed up to celebrate with Vivi at her launch party that was held at Books-a-Million in Kissimmee, FL. The bookstore team cleared the back display wall of all the T-shirts and replaced them with copies of Vivi’s book (floor to ceiling), which made a very impressive display and the lovely Vivi had a line for the entire two hours!
Vivi read, said a few tidbits about the process of writing PAPER OR PLASTIC, and a Q&A, then gave away adorable little shopping carts filled with silver and pink chocolate kisses (hurray for Valentine’s Day candy!) and BAM gift cards, as well as PAPER OR PLASTIC tote bags and journals. Vivi always knows how to pack the house with happy booklovers. Her personality shines through so much that we can’t wait for Vivi’s next signing! 🙂
